Team Battelle

How do I start a Team Battelle project?

If you have a project in mind and some volunteers lined up, first read the Team Battelle Project Director's job description. Then complete and submit the Project Proposal Form. In describing the project, please be as specific as you can be regarding the volunteer opportunities for staff members. What will you recruit staff to do in support of this activity?

The Team Battelle Advisory Committee will review your proposal. It's that simple!!

Team Battelle projects are selected from areas representing our corporate citizenship priorities—Arts & Culture; Civic & Community; Education; and Health & Human Services. To be fair to all staff, Team Battelle projects are not selected from nonprofit agencies that represent advocacy groups, special political interests, or a specific religious affiliation. Team Battelle also does not typically adopt projects that are simply fundraisers but instead focuses on those that foster volunteerism. Because Team Battelle is committed to broad impact to the community, projects benefiting specific individuals, specific public or private schools, and sports teams also are not generally adopted.
